Mississippi - a trading simulation for all adventurers

Mississippi is a trading simulation which starts in 1770 in the wild west of good old America.
One day you receive a letter, that your uncle who's living in America has died and bequeaths you his whole properties. That means 50 square meters of stockroom, 1000 $ and 50 grain. The letter tells you also, that you are born in America, but your Mother where gone back shortly after you where born.
After reading the letter you decide to jump at this chance. You leave your old home and emigrate to the new world.
You have to buy and sell your goods, build kontors in several towns, build wagons, and earn money. And, if you are good enough, be at least president of America. But, as in real live, there are good and bad news, some for yourself, some for all players. E.g. you can win a lot of money, or all your wagons could not leave your HQ and so you won't get goods for this round.

You can play the game with 5 persons. And, that's a very interesting fact, you can play it with sighted people together.

There is much music, and most of the news are spoken. The game itself is not self-voicing, so you need a screenreader to play it. We have tested it with Window-Eyes and JAWS and it works properly. If not, feel free to ask, and we will see what we can do in the code to solve problems.

The game is shareware, so you can test for yourself, if you will have fun with the game.
After installing the game, it runs as a Demo version. That means that you can play for four years and in spring 1775 the game ends. You can use all functions, except some games in the casino. To play Mississippi as a Demo-Version, just leave the field for "Registration-Code" blank.

The Demo-Version must be registered, to get a full-version of the game.

There are two ways of registering the game.
The first is to pay 10.00 EURO via Paypal. When we receive your money, we will generate your registration code and send it to you.
The other way is to use ShareIt! This service needs to be payed by us, so we have to take a higher price.

To register the game, follow these steps:

1. Start the game
in the first screen you hear the Mardy-Music and the starting sequence. Press enter.
2. At the second screen you hear the Mississippi-Music and the Copyright information, press enter too.
3. Now you are prompted to enter the Registration-Code; if you do not enter a valid code, you can play the game as a demo version. In this dialog there are two edit boxes, one called "Product-Code" and the other called "Registration-Code".
4. Use the TAB key to go to the edit field called product-Code and copy this Code to the windows-clipboard by pressing ctrl+C. When you enter the field the text is already marked so you can just press ctrl+c.
5. Now you can
order Mississippi V1.30 for 14.00 EURO via ShareIt!". You will be redirected to the ShareIt homepage, where you can buy the game. The better way is to
order Mississippi for 10.00 EURO via Paypal! Fill out all the necessary fields like name, email, and so on. When you reach the field called Product-Code press ctrl+v to paste the previously copied product-Code of the game. With that product-Code we can create your Registration-Code, which makes your game a full version.
6. When you are finished with the order process, you will receive an email with the Registration-code. Go to the line with the code, mark the text by pressing shift+down arrow and copy it to the clipboard by pressing ctrl+c.
7. Now switch to the still open game and go to the edit field called "Registration-code", press ctrl+v and than press enter.
8. Now you should hear the message:
The code you entered is right! Now you are a legal immigrant!
The registration process is finished.
